Job Summary
With direct responsibility for all Brecknell and Dillon accounts in the defined territory (Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas) this position will manage and improve sales of dealer accounts and work to establish new distribution where and when additional distribution is required and consistent with the overall business strategy.
Task and Duties
Works actively with management, inside and outside sales as the focal point for growing business in the product categories assigned
Builds partnerships with customers by regularly demonstrating a high level of expertise and professionalism. Anticipates customers' needs and recommends appropriate action plans. Independently assesses and effectively responds to customers' requests. Proactively seeks creative solutions by balancing customers' needs with internal procedures and resources. Follows through on commitments made to customers.
Determines best solutions for customer applications in several product lines based on detailed product knowledge
Communicates to all levels of customers, management; intra-departmental, and extra-departmentally, tailoring approach to ensure effective two-way interaction. Excellent written and communication skills.
Helps National Sales Manager Brecknell-Dillon deliver needed results by setting strategically aligned goals for customer development. Focuses on what it takes to get the job done and meet strategic demands. Actively seeks process improvements. Consistently demonstrates integrity and high work standards.
Accurately assesses industry/competitive trends and guides activities accordingly. Shares business and marketplace knowledge and helps others understand the direction of the marketplace.
Solicit new and increased sales through phone, email, direct mail customer communications and customer visits.
Create ideas for promotions, sales campaigns and rebate programs that entice customers to do more business with us
Host trade shows as necessary for various product lines and market sectors
Maintain existing customer accounts and set-up new accounts
Maintain a customer contact data base for particular market segments including Portion Control, Mailing and Shipping, Dot Matrix printers, Office Supplies, Internet, and Medical accounts
Travel approximately 40% or as needed to drive growth for the market segments
## Job Requirements
Knowledge Skills / Education Requirements
Degree in Business Management or equivalent work experience required
Two or more years of selling experience required
Must be able to exhibit confidence and communicate effectively to diverse groups internally as well as externally
Uphold the integrity and confidentiality of all company data

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
