) What is this career opportunity? Our Architect & Engineering Division is seeking a Construction Manager with exceptional soft skills to join their team! The office is comprised of about 17 individuals, and you would work closely with the other three CM's reporting to the Contracts & Construction Engineering Manager.
You would be responsible for directing and overseeing a multitude of projects during the construction phase of building and heavy/civil projects including mechanical, electrical, civil, building construction, environmental, and hazardous materials remediation.
You would provide constructability review and technical input into construction contract documents before, during, and after the bid.
Responsibilities also include managing and directing both designers and contractors through the construction phase, determining and resolving technical construction problems within the proposed contract plans, developing solutions to a broad range of construction deficiencies, and contract administration problems.
Traveling to project sites is an essential part of this job that comprises 60% to 80% of the time.
Most of the travel can be accomplished in day trips.

) What are we looking for? Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management, and one-two years of experience in Project Management with exposure to construction documents and construction methods.
OR Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Principles and practices of the architectural and civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering fields Construction project administration and contract administration principles Methods and safety practices of construction and construction engineering Engineering policy, materials properties, specifications, and testing methods State, federal, industry standards, and environmental rules and regulations Ability to:
