Position:
Assistant Front End Manager Your role is to work with our Front End Manager in leading our team of friendly, efficient cashiers to make our store a clean, welcoming and pleasurable place to shop and work.
Responsibilities Your responsibilities include those of a cashier, from greeting customers to checking them out and providing service as needed in between.
In addition you'll share the responsibilities of the Front End Manager.
These include routine tasks such as opening and closing, cash handling and simple bookkeeping, along with supervisory functions such as training, scheduling and maintaining a smoothly-functioning team.
As in any small retail business, you'll be expected to handle a large variety of tasks as needed.
Qualifications This position requires working a 30- to 40-hour week on a flexible schedule.
We're looking for candidates with leadership qualities (such as openness, energy and resourcefulness) who have a passion for natural food and healthy living, find pleasure in serving others and work well as a member of a team.
Fluency in English, facility working with computers and the ability to handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds are essential.
Retail experience is desirable.
