The Health Resources Division seeks to provide health care for low-income and disabled Montanans through Medicaid, the Health and Economic Livelihood Partnership (HELP), the Health Montana Kids (HMK), and Healthy Montana Kids Plus (HMK Plus) Plans.
This position is responsible for implementing, managing, and duties related to the Patient Centered Medicaid Home (PCMH) Program, the Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) Program, Passport Program and other innovative value-based or quality improvement programs for Montana Medicaid.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including ability to analyze math calculations.
Ability to interact with diverse groups, federal officers, staff, and subject matter experts in a positive and productive manner to build effective working relationships and resolve issues.
Ability to research and interpret federal and state health care regulations.
Strong skills in planning, organization, conflict resolution, and oral and written communication.
Skill in managing competing timelines and deadlines and managing the logistics of numerous complex projects.
Meet minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services, business, or public administration; health administration; or a related field.
Three years' experience in health insurance, human service programs, or general program management.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Preferred:
Experience with state plan amendments, waivers, program policy or similar documents and experience interpreting state and federal laws, rules and regulations.
General knowledge of Medicaid, HMK, or HELP Plan programs.

50 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2024.
