This position serves as a Section Supervisor and is responsible for 1) program development; 2) program operations; and 3) supervision of eight staff.
Position is responsible for management of the Immunization and Vaccines for Children cooperative agreement; has oversight of the Montana Immunization Program and Immunization Information System; and serves as the program's liaison with external partners.
Specific knowledge includes basic understanding of immunization services and program management.
Specific skills and abilities include data analysis, use of electronic data bases, management of staff, quality improvement and strategic planning.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity Knowledge of the principles and practice of public health program administration, research methodology and disease prevention and control.
Knowledge of state and federal funding requirements, and grant, contract, and budget management.
Knowledge of public health program planning, development, and evaluation.
Meet minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in health sciences, behavioral/social sciences or a closely related field.
Five years of progressively responsible experience that includes program planning and administration.
Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Supervisory experience.
Master's degree in public health or a related field is preferred.

Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory 4% an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2024.
