) About this Position The marketing, communications, film, and tourism development programs all coordinate under the umbrella of the Destination MT team that works to sustain and grow Montana's economy.
The programs develop and use communications, advertising, development, and promotional campaigns to showcase Montana and create awareness about the state as a place to visit and do business.
Through data-driven strategies and grant programs, the team aims to preserve and promote the genuine character of Montana and partners to achieve a sustainable economic future for all.
The Coordinator will work with potential businesses and partners who may seek funding and help prepare them to approach readiness to apply for the revolving loan program.
The Coordinator will have understanding of what entities need to have in place or provide to seek funds through revolving loan program.
Will keep abreast of all guidelines, laws, and regulations.
Educate individuals, businesses, and organizations about benefits and eligibility criteria for revolving loan program.
Collaborate with local communities, business associations, and other stakeholders to raise awareness of loan programs and other funding opportunities that can possibly be leveraged.
Education and
Experience:
A bachelor's degree in business management, public administration, community development, communications, or other related field.
2
years' experience in revolving loans, grants, community engagement, and/or community development/enhancement projects.
Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Knowledge of:
Revolving Loan Programs:
Basic knowledge of financial terms, lending practices, and loan products to guide borrowers appropriately toward applying for revolving loan program which is administered by the Department through Business MT and other funding opportunities both internally and externally of the Department.
Outreach & marketing strategies:
Ability to manage multiple constituent interactions and coordinate with various stakeholder simultaneously.
Working with stakeholders and business leaders Application of ethical standards and compliance with regulations and best practices.
Ability to:
Communicate with diverse stakeholders Use relevant software and tools for documentation, communication, and reporting purposes.
Facilitate outreach efforts to connect potential borrowers with suitable grant and loan programs and institutions.
Provide trainings, technical assistance, and professional development to and with partners.

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule from a remote location within the State of Montana.
Weekly travel to Helena offices will be required.
