The Service Writer is liaison between our customers and our technicians.
The job encompasses the proper satisfaction of customer and vehicle related problems, relaying the recommendations from the technicians to the customer in simple terms, and ultimately making sure the customer and their vehicle leave happy and safely.

Responsibilities:
Promptly meet and greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner Confirm automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles Will be coordinating and developing repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions Maintain automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller' inquiry Job Requirements:
Minimum of two years of Service writing experience Be able to work independently with the ability to multitask Excellent customer service skills Maintain a high level of cleanliness, grooming and uniform appearance Outstanding communication and organizational skill.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
