You will act as an intermediary between our facility and insurance companies.
This person needs to be familiar with CPT and ICD 10 diagnostic codes, preferably related to optometry.
Duties include:
working closely with our Insurance department so clean claims are sent with little to no errors, following up on questions or issues from insurance companies in regards to claim denials or errors, working closely with staff on questions from patients, talking to patients, talking to insurance companies, basic clerical duties such as answering the phone, data entry, and patient correspondence.
Scanning mail and or insurance documents and any other miscellaneous duties.
Skills needed:
self-starter, multi-tasking, able to handle time sensitive task, proficient in optometric billing and logic, preferred 2
years optometric billing experience.

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work Location:
In person.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
