The successful candidate will be a problem solver who can demonstrate initiative, accuracy, and follow-through.
Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking and prioritizing while working in a fast paced environment required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose, adjust and repair/replace Pella products in the field (i.
e.
customer home or new construction jobsite) Diagnose product issues, determine efficient resolution plans and communicate tools necessary to resolve issue (i.
e.
labor, parts, tools or time needed to complete) Replace glass in windows or doors Install items such as window shades, blinds, muntins, screens, etc.
Complete service work orders and communicate any ongoing customer or product related issues with the Customer Care Team.
Meet company safety requirements by keeping work area neat and clean, following safety precautions and wearing required safety apparel (i.
e.
shoes, safety glasses, fall protection, etc.
), and reporting any safety issues to the manager Give feedback on product quality, shop problems, material handling damage, application errors and installation problems Participate in all available training offered by corporate or the service department Other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicant will have several years of experience, and knowledge of windows and doors and the construction industry.
The position requires the possession of a valid driver's license.
Applicant must be familiar and comfortable with using ladders, scaffolding, and a variety of power tools.
Experience with power tools is required (i.
e.
table saw, circular or miter saw, pneumatic nail gun, power drill etc.
).
The job requires driving and sitting while en route to the customer's homes.
Language Skills Excellent verbal and communication skills, the ability to effectively communicate with customers that may be confrontational, diplomacy in working with both internal and external constituencies.
Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box.
