We are looking for someone with solid work history and experience in healthcare.
This position is a foundational part of our team at the Helena SurgiCenter and is involved in the most vital aspects of our operations.
This is a full-time position with competitive wages and benefits.
The position is Monday - Friday, afternoon shift.
JOB SUMMARY Performs various environmental services functions to provide a clean, safe environment for surgical patients, family members, and staff.
Is responsible for cleaning both surgical and non-surgical areas.
Example of Daily Duties Deep cleaning of the operating rooms, and other patient care areas.
Cleaning of the office, waiting room, and other staff areas.
Removal of all trash and linen from the facility.
Requires occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
Collaborate with other team members as new projects arise.
Communicate with nurse staff to priorities workflow based on the day's schedule.
Manage multiple tasks when assistance in other areas is needed.
Some interactions with patients who are in recovery.
Qualifications Prior environmental services experience.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Prior experience with hazardous materials is preferred.
