What is this career opportunity? The Customer Service Representative & Administrative Assistant has a front-row seat to the fun of playing--and the excitement of winning--the Montana Lottery.
You'll get to interact directly with our players and provide them with outstanding customer service as they enjoy our games and if they're lucky, become Montana's next big winner.
Have you ever seen the look on someone's face after they've won a million dollars? It's priceless! Customer service may include helping them learn how to play, sharing information about promotions, and guiding them through any challenges with using our website, mobile app, and Player's Club.
If there's one thing you can expect, it's that no two days will be the same.
You'll also get to work internally with our talented staff by providing administrative support across the agency.
Work with accountants, information technology staff, marketers, security investigators, and more as everyone works together to fulfill the Lottery's mission of maximizing revenue for important state programs.

Necessary competencies for your first week at the Lottery Excellent interpersonal communication skills Ability to research and share information from various sources Ability to learn a variety of games and systems to explain to customers Ability to maintain an awareness of active promotions, new games, and game changes Effective computer and office equipment skills These abilities are typically acquired by earning a high school diploma or by having experience in a position like what we are seeking.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
