The hospital system has three laboratories, and would like the Supervisor of Microbiology to oversee the Main Lab.
The Microbiology Supervisor:
Provides direction and oversight on activities.
Performs and coordinates the daily functions for Microbiology.
Implements employee evaluations for testing staff.
Acts as a resource to lab techs and providers to help them better understand micro.
Has knowledge on fungi, bacteria, and parasites.
Acts as an infection control professional to keep the lab quality up.
